Team Gymnastics

UGA Oviedo is proud to offer competitive gymnastics.

UGA is member of the USAG competitive organization. We are currently training levels 6-9 of the women’s Developmental Program. Our team director, Stephanie Mitrev, has many years of experience in the sport of gymnastics. She is joined in leading the program with co-head team coach Jennifer Barker.

Our competitive programs are built on the theory that through consistent, well-disciplined coaching, young gymnasts can develop into hardworking, self-motivated, and team-oriented athletes. We believe that teamwork is key to making individual athletes perform at their best.We challenge and support each of our athletes in being the best that they can be while fostering their love of their sport. Our competitive program provides the perfect environment for young athletes to grow their confidence as athletes (and people!) and to form lifelong friendships.
